Pets911's mission is to effect social change in this country by providing a free public service that will one day ensure an environment where all animals are valued companions and have lifetime, loving homes.

Pets911 consolidates comprehensive information about adoptable shelter and rescue pets, animal shelters and rescue services, lost and found pets, veterinarian and emergency clinics, spay/neuter resources, animal control agencies, licensing, and health and training information in a single and easy to find place with the goal of ending the high rate of euthanasia in the United States.

With over 15,400 member organizations, Pets911 assists our shelter/rescue members, animal care and control agencies, and animal welfare organizations in many ways including: national and regional media outreach, unique and frequent local outreach within your community, corporate fundraising campaigns, partnerships with charitable giving organizations, and a lot more

Who can join Pets911?

  • Municipal Shelters
  • Animal Care and Control Organizations
  • Organized "not for profit" Rescues with vet references or 501(c)3 status
  • Spay and Neuter Clinics
  • Veterinary Clinics and Hospitals
  • Emergency Animal Hospitals
