There are various opportunities, including working with animals at the shelter, helping with offsite events, working in the office, and making posters of the pets for bulletin boards posted around town. Service Information for Dogs Spay and Neuter (Low cost discount offered): Our organization has two discount programs available. The $59 coupon is available to anyone. The limited-income program is available with proof of income or government assistance. The cost is dependent on income. Come by the shelter to obtain a coupon. Adoption: The adoption fee is $85 for most dogs and $95 for most puppies. This fee covers the cost of their vaccinations, collar and leash, samples of food, and spay or neuter. Spay and Neuter (Shelter offers service to the public): Please contact us for details on our discounted spaying and neutering services. Accepts Stray Animals: We do accept stray animals, but please call first as we are limited on cage space and may not be able to take it at the time you bring it in. Animal Cruelty: To report animal cruelty or strays call Animal Control at 338-4001 in Bartlesville and 534-2223 in Dewey.
