MISSION: It is the objective of the Greater Huntsville Humane Society to promote the humane treatment of animals, to establish an animal shelter for homeless and unwanted pets, and to maintain an active animal adoption program by which these animals may be placed in suitable homes, to cooperate with city and county government agencies in the protection and control of animals, to conduct a humane education program, and to encourage responsible population control of animals by means of spaying and neutering practices.
