Description: Ginger & Spice are such fun ferrets they have the energy of year olds, they always welcome the new comers & play with them. Spice is a kisser & Ginger is the extreme playful one, she loves cat toys that dangle. The ferrets in the house play together daily and that can be 5-7 ferrets at a time & they all get along. Ginger & Spice are bonded cage mates (probably not sisters) and they are estimated to be about 3 years old. They will only be adopted together (will not separate them). They have been seen by the vet. These girls appeared to have it rough before coming to us, they were abandoned in a parking lot of an office building in a container with no food or water. They have improved & have very soft coats & are just a blast to spend time with. Ginger can be a little nippy, but not all the time & it usually when she is trying to get you to play with her. Spice is a light Sable color & Ginger is a Silver Blaze, & she may be hard of hearing, which is common in this color mutation. It doesn't appear to matter with ferrets anyway, she calls to her sister a lot, but in no other way do we really notice a difference, ok she may play more which can happen as they are not distracted by noises. They are both spayed and use the litter box most of the time. Children over 12 are recommended for these two as they are not as secure as some ferrets & can play rough. Description: ADOPTED: Congrats to Ben & Bella Jonah is an active guy who is estimated to be 4 years old, He is a handsome male ferret who is what we believe to be a Standard Black Sable. He is an average male weighing in at about 2 lbs. He has seen the vet & had a distemper booster. Jonah is fostered in a home with other ferrets & after his initial quarantine period, he was introduced to the ferret gang. He may not have been around other ferrets for a while, he was so excited & has such a good time playing with his new friends. He is not a nippy ferret, we believe he is about 4 years old, but still has the energy of a youngster. Ferrets are social critters so we do not adopt ferrets out to live alone, he will need a ferret companion to live with. Description: Haas has his name because he is big gentle guy who is very nice. He is about 4 lbs & is only 10 months old. He is a handsome guy who we think is a Champagne Mitt color, but his fur is changing at this age so we are not sure. Haas has now met all the other ferrets in his foster home & is loving it. Ferrets are social animals & trive on the companionship of other ferrets. We have seen this over & over again, & love to watch them interact with each other & their human families. We do not adopt ferrets to live as single ferrets so if you do not have one now, you will need to look into adopting two. His adoption fee is $80.00. Description: Pixie is a smaller female who is just a year old, & is a Black mitt color. She is small but can hold down her new buddy Haas who she has playtime with & he is 4 lbs & she is probably just over 1.4 lbs. They both interact with other ferrets in their foster home. She is available to be adopted with Haas (not caged together, but play together) or another ferret. Ferret are very social animals & we no not adopt them out to live as solitary ferrets. Description: This adoreable little guy is Jake a 5 year old Silver male ferret who is about 2 lbs.. He was surrendered to a local shelter because he was not allowed where he lived. We took him in & find him to be an awesome ferret, he is playful, yet mellow, curious like most ferrets. He got a bath (smelled) & he did awesome. Jake is human friendly, but not ferret friendly, so we have decided Jake will do best as an only ferret. This is not typical ferret but his past probably cause him to be this way. He was bullied by a ferret in his previous & it left him defensive with other ferrets. He is great about using his litter box. His adoption fee is $60.00 & an application is required.
