Name: Nora
Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Adult
Color/Gender: Other and Other, Female
Description: ATTN BULLY LOVERS: meet Nora~This beautiful girl was regrettably given up because her owner was relocated for work . The owner did not want to give her up , but the new landlord mandated it.Nora was much loved; and very well cared for. We are aware of the stigma all Pit Bulls must carry as their burden (as a result of many horrible owners), but Nora will make you re-think all of that. She is a sweet, sweet, girl and is simply put, a great dog. She is as pretty as they come. Her one ear always stands up in the most adorable way and we think that makes her quite unique. Nora is 4 years old and that means no more crazy puppy behavior. She is housebroken, crate trained and totally non-destructive.She has had some training too, she knows sit, come, potty and when we say 'settle down' she does.Nora does best with the large mellow males or as an only dog.Like many bullys she can not be trusted with cats or small animals,as she believes they are living toys.Nora has so much love to give and shows it by showering everyone she meets in kisses and that happy dance, its a must see! Because of her size she may be a bit much for small children. However she does ADORE all children. All she really wants is a family that is all hers and the stability that she deserves. We would love to find a caring, indoor home with Bully experience for our Nora.If you think you can give Nora a lifetime of love, gentle guidance and care, please contact her Foster Mom She's 4 years old, spayed, up to date on her vaccinations. If you're interested in her, please go to www.furangelsas.org and fill out our online application form.

Name: Aiden
Breed: Chihuahua / Chihuahua
Age: Adult
Color/Gender: Other and Other, Male
Description: Hi! My name is Aiden and I have lived my whole life in a puppy mill. When they decided to stop producing puppies, they took me out to the county and just let me go. It was winter and there was snow everywhere. I was one of the few lucky ones that survived. I really want the attention and to be loved but, IÂ’m just a little afraid of being touched. I will dance and wag my tail for you in pure joy, but then will cower if you go to reach for me. I was only touched in the mill when it was time for me to breed. Other than that, I was never petted or shown any love. I have lived my whole life in a space no bigger than a cat carrier in several inches of things I should never have had to stand in. It was all I knew. IÂ’ve worked really hard and donÂ’t have any accidents when IÂ’m being watched. I am not completely housebroken. I probably never will be. I will go outside any time you ask me to. I do well in a crate, but I love to be outside. ItÂ’s the first time in my life I got to run free on actual grass and dirt. My Foster Mom and Dad are working so hard to show me what a loving home is and that I donÂ’t have to be afraid anymore. My Mom thinks I deserve to be pampered after all IÂ’ve has been through. I have really come to love snuggling on the couch and in bed. I had no idea there were every things so soft and comfy to sleep on. I am also getting to eat really good food thatÂ’s good for me. I have learned what a leash is and I walk really well, but I get nervous if I feel someone pulling on it. Do you have any room in your heart for me? He is neutered, up to date on his vaccination and has a microchip. If you're interested in adopting him, please go to www.furangelsas.org and fill out our online application.

Name: Poncho Villa
Breed: Chihuahua / Chihuahua
Age: Adult
Color/Gender: Other and Other, Male
Description: Poncho has lived his whole life in a puppy mill. When they decided to stop producing puppies, they took all their dogs out to the county and just let them go. He is one of the few lucky ones that survived. HeÂ’s very shy and heÂ’s very afraid of being touched. He will cower in the back of his crate if you go to remove him for a potty break or even to show him love. We are working on showing him what a loving home is and that he doesnÂ’t have to be afraid anymore. He will need a lot of work in that department, but he is showing signs of happiness. He started wagging his tail and giving fingertip kisses after 3 days in Foster Care. It will take time, but he deserves it after what he has been through. He is not housebroken as he never learned anything about potty training during his time at the mill. He does well in a crate and loves to be outside. IÂ’m sure it may very well be the first time in his life he got to run free on actual grass and dirt. Update: Poncho has been working really hard at being part of the family. He will follow you from room to room and doesnÂ’t like to let you out of his sight. He may be afraid that if he canÂ’t see you or doesnÂ’t know where you are that you may have left him. He needs that security right now. He does well if heÂ’s crated when alone as he seems to understand you will be back. He has learned to climb the little stairs by our bed, but it took a lot of coaxing and helping show him how. He is now dancing and seeking attention, but does shy away when you go to give it. He is also getting much better at his housebreaking. It will take a lot more work, but in the end you would never know he was from a puppy mill. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccination and has a microchip. If you're interested in adopting him, please go to www.furangelsas.org and fill out our online application.

Name: Tiger
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog / Mixed Breed
Age: Under 6 Months
Color/Gender: Other and Other, Male
Description: Hiya! I’m Tiger. My mom thinks I am an Australian Cattle Dog Mix. I just think I am cute. I came all the way from Louisiana. I am a very happy, playful guy. I love to be in the middle of everything and may end up being a little too smart for my own good. If I want to get somewhere, I will find a way. Mom was surprised when I learned to climb the small staircase next to the bed in minutes to get up there with her. I was a natural. I’m doing well with housebreaking and Mom is teaching me ASL for my commands. Yes, I am deaf. A lot of people don’t believe it because I can run and play with the best of them. I will need to have a fenced in yard for my safety. I can’t hear things coming at me and I can’t hear you calling for me. My Mom tried what she called a “vibrating collar”, but that thing was really scary! I didn’t know who was touching me or where they were coming from. I would hide in my crate because I know I am safe in there. I can be a little demanding when I want something. I will bark to let everyone know what I want and beware if you have the toy I want to play with. I can be quite persistent in asking for the toy. My mom thinks it’s funny because I am trying to tell the other dogs that I want the toy but they are deaf too and can’t hear me. It doesn’t deter me though. I just have to work that much harder. I love to be outside and on most days it’s a challenge to get me back in. I will run up to you or the door and wait, wagging my tail. If you try to catch me, I will take off running all over the yard in pure joy at eluding you. And just try to bribe me with a treat. It has to be a good one and I have no qualms about waiting for the right one. Mom thinks I am hiding doggie coffee under my blankets as there is to end to my energy. I just think life is a game that should be played all the time. Every day is a new opportunity to live life to the fullest and I am taking every advantage of it. There will never be a dull moment with me and I just can’t wait for a Forever Family to share them with. He has been neutered, up to date on his vaccations. If you're interested in adopting him, please go to www.furangelsas.org and fill out our online application.

Name: Scrappy
Breed: Miniature Pinscher / Miniature Pinscher
Age: Adult
Color/Gender: Other and Other, Male
Description: Scrappy is estimated to be 3 years old. He came from a puppy mill that was closing and had to get rid of the breeding dogs. He was used as a stud. He was one of the lucky ones that was not too badly mistreated. He's extremely friendly and outgoing. He just wants to be by you and constantly comes up for some loving. He's rather well mannered. He gets along with all dogs, but occasionally will growl at them when he's unsure of himself. Since he came from a puppy mill and was not treated much as a pet, he is not fully housebroken but we're working on that. He's a smart boy and tries to learn to be housebroken. After all he's been through, he just adores to be by you, and to get the loving he so craves. You have to see the happy dance and the doggy smile he has on his face when he sees you. No home with young kids. He doesn't seem to like young children and is very nervous around them. He's neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, has a microchip, has been dewormed and is heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $300.00 If you are interested in giving him his loving forever home he so deserves, please go to www.furangelsas.org and fill out our online application.
