MISSION: Not So Grande Dachshund & Small Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the rehabilitation and re-homing of secondhand Dachshunds and small dogs. We strive to educate the public to ensure the betterment of all breeds. We evaluate, rehabilitate, train, and secure appropriate forever homes for Dachshunds and small breeds. Our goal is to find a forever home regardless of former neglect, abuse, abandonment, or medical conditions.

We obtain foster and permanent homes in order to help eliminate current euthanasia practices of Dachshund and other small breeds. All breeds received by Not so Grande will be fully evaluated for health and hygiene by a licensed vet. They will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, given current shots, and receive full treatment for any condition before placement.
