They can participate in helping with shelter duties, transporting animals for rescues, nursing home therapy, fund raising events, and educational programs. We offer volunteer programs for everyone (must be at least 14 years old). Stop by today to fill out an application. Donation: The Clinton Humane Society has been in existence since 1941. We are a non-profit organization that relies on memberships, donations, and grant funding to operate. We also rely on the public's generosity to provide the shelter with material donations, such and food, litter, cleaning items, blankets, and towels. Service Information for Dogs Adoption: The dog adoption fee is $40. This fee includes a heartworm check, one year distemper/parvo vaccination, and worming. We offer a 7-day free trial period with all adoptions. A free vet exam from a local vet is included with the adoption.
