| | Contact | Cat Angels Pet Adoptions | | | Description | Her name means little loved one and Aiko is discovering for the first time what being loved is all about - and she highly approves! This little girl was found trying to climb out of a dumpster in the rain in western North Carolina and made the long trip to Cat Angels. This is made even more poignant by the fact that Aiko has macular degeneration; when she came to us she had only 2-3% of her sight. That is slowly waning, and soon she will be completely blind.
She is a sweet little girl with a loud purr who loves everyone, and she does not let the fact that she has very limited vision slow her down. She likes to play, *loves* to be cuddled and is a very brave girl.
Aiko needs a special home where the environment will stay constant -rearranging the furniture would be a bad thing in her forever home. She needs to learn the terrain and have it stay stable so that she can feel comfortable. She will even jump up on furniture, if she knows where it is.
Aiko also needs to be in a home with very laidback cats. This is because she can't help staring at everyone, and some cats would view that as a dominance play. No alpha cats for Aiko's home, please! Also, no dogs please. But what we do need is a family who is willing to give her consistency and lots and lots of love. I have seen a lot of cats, but Aiko is one of the purriest cats ever. She never gets enough of the loving!
