5659 West Brooks Road Merced, CA 95340 (209) 723-2777 Volunteer: We are always looking for the volunteers who can help our Assistance Dog Programs: Puppy Petting Puppy Training Happy Puppy Handling Home Puppy Foster Homes Help on Campus - Kennel Support Cleanliness is vital for the health of our dogs. Projects such as power washing our dogs kennels is very important. Rub a dub dub, pups in the tub. Dogs love to splash and play in the mud so washing dogs is a wet and wild time. Maintenance Support Do you enjoy gardening? Or perhaps fixing fences is your expertise. Volunteers help keep our campus grounds clean and well maintained. Promote Us We are looking for volunteers to join a fundraising committee. Donation: As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations alone to take care of the animals entrusted to us. We are always in need of funds to purchase dog equipment, dog food, dog houses, and medical care for our wonderful Service Dog trainees. We also have a wish list that includes paper towels, dry dog food, garbage bags, and copier paper (you can see our full wish list on our website at www.californiacanine.org). If you would like to donate any of the products on our wish list, please drop by our facility. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, please call us. Membership: To become a silver member of our organization, the fee is $25 and includes a quarterly newsletter updating you on our most recent and upcoming events. We also have sponsorship programs available. Please call us for more information. Service Information for Dogs Adoption: We breed service dog puppies a few times a year. Occasionally, we have puppies which are not suitable as service dog trainees. These dogs are looking for a career change. They are sweet tempered kind animals that would make wonderful family pets. Often times these puppies have had obedience training and participate in the socialization program. To adopt a Career Change Dog, Call us for an appointment. We have several dogs that need to find loving homes.
