MISSION: HART is a no-kill animal rescue/support group, incorporated in 1990, that takes in and re-homes stray, abused, and owner relinquished dogs and cats. Due to our home visit requirement, except in special circumstances, HART can only adopt to people in the Washington, DC Metro Area (Northern Virginia, Maryland, DC).
