We have a wish list which includes paper towels, dry cat and dog food (Science Diet preferred; we believe that good nutrition is essential to the animal's well-being.), scoopable litter (Tidy Cats Crystal Blend; since we house the animals at our residence, odor control is of the utmost importance!), garbage bags, plastic shopping bags, paper for our printer and copier, etc. For full wish list, please visit our website. If you would like to donate any of the products on our wish list, please make arrangements to drop by our facility. If you would like to make a tax-deductible monetary donation, please call or place your donation in our collection jar, which is usually located somewhere near us and around town at various local businesses. Please be sure you are contributing to "Forgotten Angels Animal Foundation/Rescue...Pennies for Pets, Please Give So They May Live." Monetary donations can also be made direct to Guaranty Bank in Gatesville. Service Information for Dogs Spay and Neuter (Low cost discount offered): If the animal not already spayed or neutered by the foundation, we offer a 20% discount coupon on the sterilization procedure, which is good at any vet clinic. Adoption: The adoption fee for a dog is $55, which includes heartworm testing if the dog is an adult, necessary shots, de-worming, treatment for fleas and heartworm preventive. If the dog has already been spayed or neutered, the adoption fee is $75. The money from the adoption fee helps to defray our costs, which include assistance with the cost of spay or neuter in the form of a 20% discount coupon good at any vet clinic. Pet Education: We provide educational hand-outs to educate the public on the responsibilities of being a caretaker for a companion animal. We also provide info on animal care and behavior training, including but not limited to, troubleshooting behavior problems. Service Information for Cats Spay and Neuter (Low cost discount offered): If the animal is not already spayed or neutered by the foundation, we offer a 20% discount coupon on sterilization procedure, which is good at any vet clinic. Adoption: The adoption fee is $45 if not spayed or neutered and $75 if the procedure is already done. All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, brought up-to-date on shots and we also provide assistance with spay or neuter through the offer of a 20% discount coupon good at any vet clinic. Pet Education: We provide educational hand-outs to educate the public on the responsibilities of being a caretaker for a companion animal.
