CAT DIET
A properly balanced diet includes protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and water. Choose food that is appropriate for your cat's age, from major manufacturers, in a variety, to ensure nutritional balance. Dry food or kibble is less expensive than other kinds, and gives you the most variety for feeding your cat. Canned food is expensive, but cats love it and it lasts much longer. A basic diet of dry food, with daily rations of canned food, is recommended for nutrition and cost efficiency. Dry rations can typically be left out for your cat to eat whenever he or she is hungry, unless she is overweight. Allow your cat to indulge in the occasional treat in moderation! If your cat is finicky, don't be concerned unless he or she is losing weight. If this is the case, call your veterinarian. - CAT SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS
