  • Successful Posting

    Hi,

We found a dog on Monday, 11/10, and I posted its description and picture.  On Tuesday, we took it to a vet to get it scanned and a chip was found.  We were excited until we spoke to the vendors of the chip and found out that they were unable to contact the dog’s owners because their phone was disconnected and their contact information had not been updated. The fact that the original location of the dog was in Missouri was also discouraging.  So, we called the county and made arrangements for an animal control office to come and get [continue reading »]

  • PROFESSOR MCGONAGLE HAS RETURNED HOME

I am VERY happy to report that she showed up on my front porch stoop today!!! My other cats were standing up at the windows, intentionally looking out, and I thought, could it Professor out there?  And, lo’ and behold, there she was, eating the food I had set out.  I opened the door, called her name and in she ran.  She was sooo hungry.  I gave her food and held her all afternoon.

  • Scrappy is found!

Woohoo !  Scrappy was happily re-united with her family on Friday Sept. 26th !  She went missing on Monday Sept 22nd and I found her on Sept 24th.  Her parents had been looking for her since Monday, going to all the pounds, and searching lost & found databases, such as this one.  It was an emotional re-union, as Scrappy has been apart of this family for 14 years and they were so thankful to have her back (and so was she) !  For all of you who have lost or found a pet don’t give up !!  These [continue reading »]

  • Whitey returns home

I am writing to thank Pets911 and HRLostpets.org for the tips on finding lost pets.  Whitey was a well behaved housecat, who managed to slip out unnoticed. After 30 long days and only two sightings in the neighborhood, Whitey was coaxed out of hiding and caught with a live trap on October 11th.  I had my doubts that we would see him again when he didn’t show up through several major rain storms, but I believe your tips on keeping food, water and bedding where he could find it helped keep him close to home. Also,  with your website available [continue reading »]
