All is not lost, the story of Charlie Scull
Charlie, our 15+ year old mixed breed dog, escaped from our yard via the golf course on Saturday November 28. Our Daughter Kim was distraught, which was a surprise coming from a 20 year old, she said, “Just when I just started to love Charlie he goes missing.” So, she printed and distributed signs in the neighborhood announcing “Lost Dog” and to contact us if found. All Sunday we waited and answered the home phone on the 1st ring but we were disappointed each and every [continue reading »] -
Two for the gold, building a family
In November of 2008 we said goodbye to our beloved great dane, Max. After his long bout of Valley Fever and Rocky Mountain Fever, we decided we need to be merciful and let him go. But with new recent events we began to open up to the possibility. Our family of five missed the many positive qualities a [continue reading »]

Midnight the Southern Gentlecat
“Midnight” is a Southern Gentlecat by birth, from North Carolina. He was a wandering Tomcat who wandered onto our porch and into our hearts in the autumn of last year. We had him [continue reading »]

Shiela the gorgeous rescue cat
Shiela was living in the Animal Care & Control of New York City. The owner left her there, I don’t know when and I don’t know the reason. I just want to say thank you.
Shiela didn’t want to be adopted.
Not like she was unhappy in the Center, where I have to say the animals are very well treated receiving the care and love of workers and volunteers; no. She looked to be indifferent about life. I saw her photo on the web and I knew she was my cat. The kittens and other cats were wonderful, lovely, friendly. “Bring [continue reading »]

Pets11 works for a second time!
I posted a lost tortoise for my best friend. Immediately after I posted it, I looked under found pets (should have looked first before posting) and saw a listing for someone who found a tortoise in the area. I called and it was Oliver. Thanks Pets 911. This is the second time I have used the web site and successfully have found a lost pet! The last lost pet I found was my Aunt’s dog that escaped on 4th of July 2008. The humane society saw our post and called that someone had brought in a dog that matched her [continue reading »]
