Volunteers are needed by local animal shelter or rescue organizations. Many facilities count on volunteers to stay afloat. You can assist with dog walking, fundraising, administrative tasks, lend your talents, or help out at pet adoptions! The possiblilities are endless.

Fostering Opportunities
Find fostering opportunities in your area.
Temporary foster families are always needed. By being a foster parent, you give young puppies and kittens the opportunity to be adopted when they are of age. You will provide a puppy or kitten with love and socialization. Without foster parents, many young pets would be euthanized.
Other foster families give shelter pets a break from shelter life by taking them home with them for one or more days.
Fostering frees up space in shelters and rescues allowing other animals to be saved and adopted.
