Two of the well-known and respected organizations in this field are the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (800-296-PETS) and Pet Sitters International (336-983-9222). These organizations offer pet-sitter accreditation courses, complete pet-care-related home study courses, professional conferences, and a recommended code of ethics to their members.
